What is the cdap grant?

The Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) is a category business grants that offers support to small and medium sized Canadian-owned businesses. The grant is aimed at helping business adopt new technologies, set up e-commerce solutions to grow their sales online, and supporting these businesses in the form of a grant to offset the cost of digital advisors and service providers that will develop digital plans and services tailored to your business.

What do i gain from the cdap grant?

The CDAP grant known as the Grow Your Business Online grant will award you up to $2,400 to put towards setting up e-commerce and online solutions to grow your sales and business online. The second CDAP grand known as the Boost Your Business Technology grant will give you up to $15,000 to get advice on the technologies needed to propel your business to the next level.

How do I qualify?

You are eligible to receive funding through the CDAP grants if your business:

  • is a for-profit business (including for-profit social enterprises and co-operatives)

  • is registered or incorporated

  • is consumer-facing (sells goods and services directly to end consumers)

  • has at least one employee (other than the owner) OR had at least $30,000 in annual revenue in the most recent tax year 

  • commits to maintaining a digital adoption strategy for six months

  • agrees to participate in follow-up surveys, share data about the experience, and have its name published as a grant recipient
